My furry  Americans,

It is with deep regret that I and my cat-i-date Olive concede this purrresidential election. We fought fang and nail to be the leaders of the Kitty Cat Pawty but it was not to be.

I have not, however given up my purrrlitical aspirations. I have read of cats as mayors, cats who work for the British government and other felines in various areas of government. I will however, take some time to reflect on this election and what is in my future. \

I want to thank my running mate Olive, from Three Chatty Cats who gave dignity and maturity to our campaign. Should I need a running mate in the future, she will be the first one I meow at.

I will advise posthaste should I be seeking another office and I thank you for all of your support.
